which is the best Ratchet PS3 game?

Even though ToD will always hold a place in my heart, ACiT is the most emotional and mature one.

The only thing that dissapointed me in ACiT is its length. I beat it in 7 hours :(.

...yes it is I'm torn between ACIT and TOD though, TOD had more of Ratchet and Clank together, but ACIT was more refined.

A Crack in Time. No competition at all. ToD and Quest for Booty are disappointing sequels to one of the PS2's greatest series but ACiT rocks!

Just started (well, I'm maybe 3-4 hours in) Crack in Time. So far it's bigger and better, more gameplay experiences, but a lot less guns and gadgets (so far at least).

ToD was excellent though.

A Crack in Time what made it so great were the puzzles with Clank I thought it was one of the best parts about the game I loved doing those recording puzzles. I just didn't like how sad the ending was.

On the PS3 - A Crack in Time Of all time - Up Your Arsenal The funny thing is, both of the above games involve Dr. Nefarious. Hmm, it appears that I might secretly have a man-crush on him.

as much as i loved Crack in Time, Quest for Booty has something that Crack in Time doesnt have, Talwyn (besides where is she in CiT?), its like she disappeared of the face of the planet after Quest for Booty (which i thought she was gonna join Ratchet in his quest to find Clank)

Yeah, last in the Future but not last in the series. It was such a relief to know that when I read an interview with the director saying it's not the last one!

I must agree with Chocolate here. UYA is a classic. And graphics and technological prowness =/= overall quality.

I had a ps1, 2, psp, 3. never had a ratchet and clank or jak and dexter game. the demos never grabbed me. I took a chance and purchased the QfB game. I know it is an abbriviated version ofR and C but its great. I just ordered ToD and will get AciT later. this series is great. So underrated. My new fav series on ps. However should I be excited for a Jak and Dexter game or Sly Cooper. How do they compare to the R & C series?

I have played all games in the series, except for secret agent clank wich does not count, and I would have to say that ACIT is the best followed closely by 2 and 3.

I have yet to complete A CiT but atm I would say Tools of Destruction, and of the old ones obviously the first Ratchet and Clank.

Defiantly ACIT its just sooooo good, I loved TOD and its what got me into the R&C series, but ACIT was the cherry on the cake, its just brilliant! I liked quest for booty but it was too short and had that kind of "demo" feel to it.

ACIT is structured better than TOD; flying freely around the galaxies beats watching it in cutscenes/load screens in the other games, where the duo get in the ship, take off and then land on the next planet. Boring. With the radio stations and distant galaxies/stars of space it was fun to just fly around and explore the mini planets. The Clank sections were a well designed break in the action too. The story is much more interesting, I barely remember what TOD was about. (That Tachyon guy being a douche or something....?) Nefarious + Lawrence = best villain duo ever.

idk what that means. I didn't really like ToD. It was ok. Only the last parts where you're fighting wave after wave were actually a constant source of fun. The weapons were awesome though. CiT is a much much much better game, though with less awesome weapons. But it just improves on every single flaw that ToD had. Fixes it all right up.
