I'm looking forward to buying a racing game, the ideas that i have so far are: DiRT, Ridge Racer 7, and GranTurismo 5

Which racing game do you guys think is the best?

I like Motorstorm, but I think the best racer recently is Burnout Paradise

From my taste, I have played all racing games for PS3 except for Gran Turismo, I think that Ridge Racer 7 and Need For Speed Pro Street are the best. I never got into the Gran Turismo series but I have always been a fan of Need for Speed. That's just my opinion though. It wouldn't hurt to read reviews, watch gameplay videos, or rent first.

Baller is right, watch some gameplay videos. For me, motorstorm and ridger racer and incredibly boring. Need for speed is supposedly great and burnout, which I am playing, is the best out (even with it's crap open world thing).

GT5p is definatly, by far the best if you like realistic racers. Motorstorm is very enjoyable if you like arcade racers, but Burnout paradise would probably be the best in that genre. IMO Rige Racer sucks but I'm a fan of the more realistic racer.
