Best Racing Game

^ on the psp? I don't think so.

I'd like to find a good racing game for the PSP myself. I only have Need For Speed: Most Wanted & that sucked.

I'l recommend Wipeout Pulse. It has great multiplayer and a sizable single player campaign. Need For Speed Own the City is exceptionally good as well. But its best if u wait til the next installment , who knows? It might be better than OtC. Burnout Dominator is kinda good as well if u love racing at ridiculously insane speeds. But frankly, I prefer NFS OtC cos im a great fan of open-city racing games. :D

Midnight Club DUB edition is gud as well. But is technically inferior to NFS OtC. The framerates are kinda unstable in MC DUB. So ... yep. That's it. Hope that helps SGT4EVA. ;)

I think you mean "Race Driver 2006" which is a port of "Race Driver 2", and yes it rocks if you can find it... I also think the "BurnOut" games are outstanding for arcade, as is "Midnight Club 3".

(I'm waiting patiently for that promised Gran Turismo PSP title... and waiting... and waiting... and waiting... and....)

Great graphics, great cars, tons of available modifications

Heh... momentary ethnocentrism attack...

I have no idea about the PSP "Turismo"... my long and historied relationship with the series tells me that the only way I'll be pleased with the shipping date is not to pay attention. That way, when it's in the store I'll feel happy instead of incomplete until the arrival. Make any sense at all?

It's gonna be great, there will be no other racer that comes close when it comes to handling, tweaking of mechanics, physics, graphics... I know it'll be great... I just also know not to hold my breath. The last I heard was that the team was focusing on the PS3 version of the game and then once it was safely on the shelves of stores they would turn all talents towards the PSP title. Let's hope it's soon, but don't wait.

I like the ToCA series for it's own merits, and for the amount of different styles are a ton of fun with a nice sim feel... sorry for the hauty American-Style slip-of-the-lip!

I have two answers:

Burnout Legends(at the moment)

Gran Turismo Mobile( if it ever comes out, let's hope it does :D)

I would recommend Burnout Legends and Wipeout Pulse. Both have good frantic racing pace and an amazing multiplayer. Not to mention pulse is online.
