Best racing game on the ps3?

Looking for a good racing game on the ps3 at the moment its between gt5 or need for speed hot pursuit

well i would say GT5. but it might not be for you. if you like realistic driving and a crap load of cars (over 1000) then definately get GT5. its an awesome game really quality,i really enjoyed it. but if you're more into the arcade kinda racing style then need for speed would be the way to go.

It depends on what you are looking for.

I would say the best racing game is between DIRT 3 and Formula One 2010 (F1 has to be played with a wheel).

The top arcade racer for me is still Burnout Paradise by far.

GT5 is so slow paced...I mean it's a crawl...it probably is the most expensive boring game made in history.

Gran Turismo 5 was extremely disappointing. I'd go with Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Dirt 3, GRID, Wipeout, or Crash Team Racing. ANYTHING but GT5.

Modnation racers is a good game u can make ur own track.

Need For Speed: Shift and Shift 2: Unleashed were both great fun. F1 2010 was a really intense experience. Motorstorm Pacific Rift was a blast if you're into more of an arcade thing.

GT5 was a huge disappointment. And I'm a former Gran Turismo fanboy who pre-ordered GT5 a good year before it came out. :roll:

Forgot one. Burnout Paradise, which is my personal favourite racer this gen.

I'd say either Burnout or Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.

Go with MS: Apocalypse, more than your average racing game and with an awesome setting plus stellar MP experience.
