-Lumines -With PS1 Classics, i'll say MGS and FF7. I heard Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is very good as well.

Lumines, Castlevania SotN, DJ Max Portable, Exit, wipEout Pulse. But the upcoming Valkyria Chronicles game will blow all of these away.

I agree. I can't see anything that will necessarily take a tremendous step down. Even the visuals, which are beautiful for all the right reasons (art style rather then photo realism) seem to be fairly consistent.

Final Fantasy Tactics-I spend tons of time grinding, leveling up my team NBA and Fifa-Doesn't matter the year really, but sports games in general keep me interested for a while, easy to pick up and play.

Dissidia WOULD be on the list, because of all the crazy crap you can unlock, but the only problem is the blatant lack of balance and the shallow combat. It's still enjoyable, however.

The 'Monster Hunter' and 'Disgaea' games in particular have hundreds of hours of content. They'll each give you your moneys worth at least 10 times over, if you really get into them.

I highlyrecommend 'Monster Hunter Freedom: Unite' and 'Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days'.

LOL, funny man.

Who's being funny? I really DO like the game a lot. I know it soundslike a gag, but the game really is one of my favorite on the PSP because it is a much different game than any other in my collection. It's not a fast-paced, exploding, cut scene filled game, but that is what is so appealing about it. You are after larger and more difficult to land fish in a variety of locations, with a hoard of different lures and times of day to fish each location. It's not those loud arcade "Bass Challenge" games, it's mellow... with crickets and running rivers as sound backdrop. I find it relaxing, and challenging all at the same time. The graphics are actually pretty good and the gameplay is smooth. It might sound boring to you, but I say try it first. I've turned a few people onto it since joining these forums awhile back and they've all been like "Hey, sorry I thought you were kidding. This actually is pretty cool."

I've played every console version to completion and i really like it on the PSP even though it's pretty much a port of RFIII. It's not for everyone, but you never know until you try. I got over my poo-pooing games before I tried them when someone introduced me to "MonkeyBall" years ago, and I'm a happier gamer because of it!

:D

Games like "Patapon" would never have made it to my collection if I had stuck to my "manly" FPS games. I'm not coming down on you, I just urge you to open yourself to a new experience. You may hate it, but then again you might see the magic. I personally don't dig FF games. I've played IV, VII, and X to completion (X with the help of a guide because it was HUGE), but just like "Monster Hunter Freedom", I thought I should get my own perspective on why people like these games... I can now say from an educated stance, "I don't dig those games". But I was open to them.

Give it a shot. Or not. Either way, peace. ;)
