AND I MEAN THE BEST!!!

all I want is something with great story and loong gameplay (something to keep you busy for a long long time)

I need you're opinions and why

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep

get untold legands 1 and 2 because they both have a good story and long gameplay (it took me a 7-8 months to finish them)

and i like how you can customize your stats weapons clothing etc

tales of enternia is the best with vlakrie profile in a close second.

both took me over 45 hours to finish each

The best? Kind of hard to say. I never played the PSP version of FFT, but the original is one of the greatest games of all time, and I can only imagine the remake being better, if only slightly. I also thoroughly enjoyed Valkyrie Profile (also a PS1 remake, btw); great gameplay with a simple yet complex battle system, great story, great characters and great replay value (three endings and multiple difficulty levels). Monster Hunter Freedom also kept me busy for many, many hours. Between two characters (one a dedicated gunner), I've clocked over 600 hours in that game alone.

For original IPs on the PSP, I haven't had much luck. I'm considering Jeanne D'Arc and/or Brave Story.

Action = Gurimin FF7 Crisis Core (japan)

best ported Rpg

Action = Valkryie Profile

Tactical = FFT War of the Lions

final fantasy: war of the lions by a loooooooooooong shot for me

try Brave Story: New Traveler, IMO its the best original RPG on PSP

Valkyrie Profile, hands down.

I thought Brave Story was okay but it didn't hold my interest despite being very well-made and pretty. Tales of the World isn't worth it unless you're a huge Tales Series fan. Avoid Valhalla Knights.

Personally, I love Innocent Life and Harvest Moon: Boy and Girl but they aren't traditional RPGs. Gurumin is a good game too but more action-based.

and yeah u suck ass at UL1 & 2 cause it took me a week to beat both.

A long lasting rpg with great story and awesome mechanics is FFT:WotL--this is you best bet

next is Valkyrie Profile-great story, GREAT gameplay. I warn you thought that after you beat the game on all difficulties and get the 3 endings...(which will take you about 90 hours) there is a bonus dungeon that is really long and fun the first time you play through but later it gets boring.....

and finally, final fantasy 1,2 or CC-you can't go wrong with any of these though you'll have to import CC(its with it!)

If you're looking for the BEST RPG on PSP I'd have to say Kingdom of PAradise, as much as NO ONE has named this game yet, it was the best RPG I've played. My favorit RPG of all time on PS2 was Kingdom Hearts, if you like that then play Kingdom of Paradise. Nothing is as good as it on PSP I havn't enjoyed a single RPG on PSP since I've played it and I was disapointed when they canceled the release of Kingdom of Paradise 2 in North America because it didn't sell much. If you want you can go for all those FF remakes or insanely long and boring Strategy RPGs but Action RPG is where it's at in my books and Kingdom of Paradise was awesome.

BTW Untold legends is horrible, DONT EVER TOUCH THOSE GAMES! (I used to have them, then gave them away, G-A-R-B-A-G-E)
