best rpg's?

hi, just got a ps3. what are the best rpg's for the ps3? i only want ps3 exclusives(but could be on xbox too, just not PC). also, i like games like heavy rain.

I recommend Final Fantasy XIII, Valkyria Chronicles, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, V: Skyrim, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect3to name a few and if you like games like Heavy Rain then I recommend Indigo Prophecy (PS2)andL.A. Noire. Also check out the recommendation thread on the PS3 forum for more ideas;)

If you like Heavy Rain then I'd highly reccommend L.A. Noire, it's awesome.

My recommendations are Star Ocean: The last hope, Resonance of Fate, and Final Fantasy XIII. And if you still went more you can get Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion and Dragon Age. Personally, I recommend you to give priority to Star Ocean, my favourite. Enjoy your brand new PS3 !!

If you want more of a story driven, focused RPG experience either Mass Effect 2 or Dragon Age: Origins. Both are fantastic games. If you want open world, non linear RPGs Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion comes to mind.

Valkyria Chronicles but Trinity Universe, Disgaea 3 are also very good

You can get Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, and final fantasy tactics via playstation store too if you're looking for classic exclusives.

I'm not into all those Japanese rpg's so i would have to say Diablo 1&2 or Torchlight.

I would have to recommend Valkyria Chronicles and Demons Souls. VC story was amazing and DS was frustrating at first, but became enjoyable once I familiarized myself with the mechanics. I believe there is a recommendation thread in the forums that could also help you decide.
