I really enjoy it in Folklore, Heavenly Sword and Motorstorm. I play Motorstorm exclusively in first person mode with motion control on. I find I play the game much better that way. I also think Warhawk uses it well, though I rarely use the motion control in that game.
I know I won't be in the majority here, but I enjoy it in Lair, too. I never had the problems using it the way most people seem to, and I really enjoy it in that game. I do wish we had the option of turning it off because sometimes the action gets really heavy and it's hard to focus on all of the controls while trying to pay attention to everything that is going on, but I still like it.

I agree 100% with all of that... except for the fact that I am garbage with the SIXAXIS on Motorstorm.. though I still enjoy using it.
In all the games you've played, what games used the sixaxis the best? For me, the most fun one was heavenly sword. The aftertouch worked so well. I havent tried lair, so im not sure if I will be able to get used to it like I did heavenly sword... I really hope so. And the ratchet demo seemed to have good use for it.instantdeath999
The best use i've found for it's motion sensing so far is-A BIG FAT ZERO+The biggest use i know I will find for it in the future is as a trade in for a dual shock 3

I agree about lair, it had some problems, small problems. nothing that hinders your ability to beat the game. i had next to no problems, althoughlike i said, there were some small problems.
as for motorstorm (traded it in b/c of online problems) i liked using it, but i hardly ever did
You guys should try High Velocity Bowling... Download it from the Playstation Store. It makesyou hold and swing the Sixaxis controller like your bowling. It is a crowd pleaser and should win the Wii Crowd over... It is more skill-based and fun than Wii Bowling too! I am currently looking for more games like this..!

Marvel Ultimate Alliance IMO. Raven Software took full advantage of the six-axis use. Every time when I play that game. My arms would always get tired. Rag Doll Kung-Fu uses the sixaxis pretty good as well.
I agree with NYC05, Folklore rocked with the motion control in that game. Lair wasn't that bad, it wasn't that the controls didn't work, it is just that the dragon was slow to do the moves. If they made the dragon faster, then that game could have been a lot more fun. I actually got the 180 turn to work 95% of the time. All you had to do was tilt the controller downward some and then lift up and it did the move. I think the reason people had trouble doing that move was because they held the controller straight and then pulled up, it doesn't work that way.
i agree with folklore, you think its a gimmick at first but i think it actually makes the game a bit more immersive and rewarding.
Also flower, the numbness of the sixaxis is what makes its use in this game so good, the fact that it is numb, like any motion controller, suits it to flying through the air.
Heavenly sword good sixaxis use.
Killzone 2, sniper is pretty cool, but a mouse is just better.
Bad uses:
Sixaxis in mgs4 inside spoiler tag
with those doll things i mean its not following your movements acurately so its just a waggle thing and imo it breaks the immersion and also the climactic feel of the boss battle, i know its mean to be a puzzle but its just wierd. good thing it only lasts for a very short time. What i think would of been really cool is you use the puppet to control screaming mantis and then inject her with the syringe getting rid of the nanomachines in her and the simulated possesion of psycho mantis, and then as a swansong holds off the frogs along with meryl and akiba, also sacrifices herself to save akiba and meryl as a matyr for the plague of war and the end of the war economy, also avoiding the generally hated marrige proposal
call of duty 3 melee was pretty awesome..especially for fps games outbreak201yeah, thats my most memerable use of the six axis, so sweet, its like u melee in real life and then the game does it. lol Motorstorm was another I also enjoyed. Love the steering.
Heavenly Sword yeah, but I still can't master how to get guys into the air! lair was fun, but then you realize it would have been better if the analog was used for flying and the sixaxis for the camera! duh! Army of Two anyone? the reload option! awesome, especially when you play it on 360 and wonder why it won't reload when you joggle the thing. GRAW 2 yeah, that was a nice touch... oh, and it would have been great in RE5 as a way to get guys off you, rather than use the left analog -still don't know how that could have been missed...HAZE used it too, when you're on fire, but that's to be forgotten...as a melee option, yeah, that's a must I think...
Honestly, I think Sony is forgetting about it, because not many games are making use of the option, and if they are, the developers are just idiots -ie lair, re5- and don't realize how to make full use of it...confrontation I hear also uses it, but that'sa waste since it's for snipe mode...ah, killzone 2 too! too damn hard!...
