Best Thing to do With my YLOD 80GB BC PS3?

Hey guys, got my PS3 repaired under warranty 6 months ago and now it's got the YLOD again and is now out of warranty. I'm just gonna buy a new slim.

Ideas on what to do with the YLOD one?

You could repair it for the 150 and sell it online for 250 or more. Just a thought. BC is still important to many people.budboarder

Shell out $45 for both a heating gun which is $30 and Artic Silver compound which is $15 and follow one of thos "FIX YLOD Video Guides" in youtube (I've done it and worked seemingsly). Once you get your working ps3 again, eBay it for $320 and purchase your Slim. Atleast, that's what I'll do.
