My neighbor has this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7336037&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat54200050027&id=1118845629729

Now i dont want the memory, just the faceplate. It is perfect for being able to put my psp in my pocket when not in use. I dont want anything else in it, and that is my problem. Is there any cases that u can fit in ur pocket (No i am not a rapper, so my pocket cant fit a whale). Suggestions?

How about just treat it well. I have had mine for about a half a year and i have never used a face protector. Still no scratches lol. I treat my psp like its gold.

You could just take care of it with the black cover that was originally free........and I wasn't aware that all rappers have pants with big pockets :? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkPb4s0-QcI (Take a close look at the pants)

I agree! I used a plastic scratch guard on my DS, and I spent more time trying to get those darn air bubbles out. For my PSP, I handle with care and when I'm done playing, I just shut the lid to my PGP. For the times when I want to play the PSP out of the PGP, I use the Playgear visor, also from Logitech. I find it to be a better alternative to the plastic film.

I use a pretty standard screen protector, one I picked up at GameStop when I bought the PSP.  It's been great for keeping the screen safe.  You have to be patient and careful in putting the thing on, but if you are, you won't have any bubbles.  I don't carry my PSP in my pocket; if I did, I'd keep it in the soft sleve it came with.

I've never had trouble keeping mine scratch-free.  I treat it with care, but not like it's made of crystal or anything.  So from my perspective, the best way to keep it looking like new is use your common sense.

Thank you that's what I've been trying to say. I also bought just a standard screen protector, took the time I needed to put it on right and get all air bubbles out, and it's been perfect ever since.

I had that face armor thing and it broke after like a month of use.  the hinges on it aren't very well constructed IMHO, and it also ties up the screws on the top (although that doesnt matter much since the camera sux :P)  I usually just used the softcase that came with the PSP, but I also have the "leather" holster that Pelican makes.  I think its like 10 bucks now.  It fits in my pocket rather well, it doesnt add much to the size.

All you really need to do is treat your PSP with care. Treat it like it's a two-month year old baby.
