Best Way to Stream Media?

Hello all.

I was just wondering about your opinions on the best way to stream media (pictures, videos and music) across a network from my Windows XP Service Pack 3 computer. What is the best software to use?

Please? Isn't any helping because I have an Xbox 360 GamerTag in my sig
