Best Weapons Ever!!!

Post your favorite video game weapons (one gun and another non-gun) of all time (not necessarily PS3 related, but preferred). You can also add runner-ups or honorable mentions.

Favorite Gun: M5A2 Carbine from Resistance - you can't beat the classics, especially with a 50-bullet clip and mounted grenade launcher - plus, I've got more than half of my online kills with this baby

Runner Up: L209 LAARK from Resistance because it doesn't get much better than being able to shoot yourself in the *** with your own gun! :D If you haven't already done this, then the next time you play Resistance, shoot a LAARK rocket up in the air and stop it with L1 when it's out of sight and send it flying back down at a car in front of you - 100% awesome

Favorite non-Gun Weapon: Chaos Blades from God of War - innovation FTW! Definitely the most fun I've had chopping enemies up in any game.

Runner Up: Dragon's Claw & Tiger's Fang (dual wield swords) from Ninja Gaiden Sigma because they have some of the sickest moves and combos I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing and doing.

If I were even half as serious, I would say Portal Gun.

My M4 Custom on MGS4, and the Rebellion on DMC3rultzbud

Hell yeah, I love the M4 Custom. I would have to say though the Cerberus from DMC3, although I do love Rebellion.

Fav. gun: Rail Gun (MGS4) and Portal Gun

Fav. hand to hand weapon: Great Knife (Silent Hill 2)

Really too many but here are some: Gravity Gun from HL2, Cereral Bore from Turok 2, Big F*cking Gun 9000 - Doom series, Pandora's box of Dante in DMC4, Rebellion also from Dante, Chainsaw from Gears, the good ol' knife from CS, that suitcase weapon from Perfect Dark, Railgun from Quake, ....

But overall the best weapon ever, of all time, is the Shrink Ray from Duke Nukem 3D!!!

See that monster shrink, hahaha! And when it's finally small enough, the best action hero of all time is there to smash his head in! :D

It's a tie for me - Resistance fall of man - that gun that shoots through walls

gravity gun was awesome man.

ebony and ivory guns from devil may cry were always super badass too me. just a couple of guns but very cool

umm... baracks blades from mortal kombat. hmm thers a lot from mortal kombat, like scorpions thing that comes out of his hand

resistance did have some sick guns, but im ure resistance two is going to up the ante big time

There are so many great weapons in games over the years that this topic is extremely hard to answer!

So i will split it into sections from my three favourite games!

MGS4=

Kill weapon: M4 ( Grenade launcher, shotgun,scope,dot sight,foregrip,lazer and flashlight) A beast of a weapon :)

Non Kill weapons: MK22 ( Sleeping dart, four emotional darts to mess with enemies emotions) They will have a headache

DMC4=

KIll weapon 1: Red Queen (Gotta love it)

Kill weapon 2: Rebellion (Love the classics)

RE4=

Kill weapon 1: Chicago Typewriter ( Ahahahaha)

Kill weapon 2: Handcannon (BOOM)

So they are basically my favourites at the moment, but if i had to pick out of these it would be the M4 from mgs4 because i love all the attachments, plus i love killing with it, it does everything :D

KZ2's Electric gun is awesome.

I'm going to go with the Farsight from Perfect Dark (N64). How could you not love a gun that allows you to snipe people through walls no matter where they are on the map?

Runner Up would be the Callisto NTG from Perfect Dark as well. I don't know why, but I really liked this gun.

Non-Gun would have to be the Beowulf/Giglamesh from the Devil May Cry series.

Runner up is the Powerfist from Fallout 3. I couldn't get enough of uppercutting people's head off

Fav Gun:Contact Beam

Fav Non-Gun: LIGHTSABER!

Cerebral Bore from Turok 2. What's better then a gun designed to shoot mini drills that seek out the enemies brain, drill through the skull and then explode.
