Better PSN hook up: Wired or wireless?

im gettin my cable moden back this week, had issues with it. so i was wondering what id better to hook up the PS3 to the internet: Wired or Wireless? or is it the same either way?

Less chance of interference with wired but ultimately transfer speeds are capped by your ISP's available plans so it's up to you. I've been wireless since US launch with no hiccups.

I recommend wired. There's just less that can go wrong.

wired all day. had my ps3 wired then i got a 360 and used the wire for it and set my ps3 to wireless. and before i put it wireless i never got signed out or got any lag. when i went wireless i got lag and psn errors all the time.

Wired is Strong.....

if you buy an wireless N ethernet bridge its like its wired my $100 I bought recently gets 6-7MB per second

Wired is always better if you have the option. That being said though I've never had any issues with wireless and it is what I currently use.

Wired is more stable, and can get you up to Gigabit transfer speed (if using a gigabit ethernet modem on your home network) between your PS3 and you wired pcs. internet wise, the download speed will be what ever your local ISP is providing (unless you're using cable internet).

Wireless, no having to run wires around and if you have adecent router, speeds are the same.
