Between the two franchises which do you like better.

I'm not much of a fan of the newer games in both series, but I love the older installments. BF2 is one of my favorite online games ever, and I also like the original COD... But overall I like Battlefield better.
Let the flame wars COMMENCE!
Oh and I'll go ahead and fluff the pillows on the bandwagon ready for all the CoD haters.
It depends entirely on the game. COD4, Black Ops, and Bad Company 2 are superb. BF3 and MW2... not so much.
BF, the Cod franchise has brought out around 8 games, and they aren't even half as good as the 3 installments from BF, put together of course.
My absolute favorite military FPS is "Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising". I don't own "Red River" yet but I will, soon. The "Flashpoint" games offer a real, tense, and brutal experience that neither of those franchises can touch. "Dragon Rising" on Hardcore settings is the most unforgiving, and as a result rewarding, tac shooters out there. When you accomplish a mission after an hour or more of play, with no checkpoints or restart favors of any kind, you feel like you've been through something. The physics of fire are painstakingly recreated, and you can't just unleash a volley of shots at an enemy, giving away your position and praying to hit something... They'll chew you up quick. Changing weapons takes precious seconds, as does administering medical aid to yourself or a teammate. The lack of ReGen Health is the best feature in a tac-shooter and "Flashpoint" is one of the few series out there to hang onto it. All-around, the game is so much better than either of those online MP Mega-Titles...
"Flashpoint" Uber-Alles.
