There seemed to hae been problems from the demo which resulted in people getting kicked. I don't really want to say that PSN/EA is at fault here, but it looks as though their servers are just crap. My advice? Just put it down for one week and grab something else and check sporadically. Don't think it's only you PS3 fans, the PC users have problems too: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/479228.page
Maybe a consiparcy to get users to get the X360? I doubt it, but something to keep in mind (lol.. jk)

From looking at that, it seems punkbuster is the problem on the majority of the PC games, although I don't know if the PS3 has a similar protection system. If it does, just uninstal BF:BC2, and then re-install. Although I don't know what will happen to your saved data. Remove the saved data via USB or something similar, and I believe that the PS3 has your online game tethered to your PSN ID, so that should keep your account ok.
Although I don't know if you had to install anything to play, just my conclusions whenever I have a problem with PC things, this may translate into something for the PS3.
