Big announcment from Sony on the 12th??

So theirs rumored a big announcment coming from Sony on the 12 of October. What does everyone speculate it to be? Hopefully the rumors are true about the $400 40gig version because then Sony would make a killing. Who knows what it could be even if it is true their is a big announcment.

Edit: Ok, for those who dont visit N4G.com on a daily basis, heres more truth to the new SKU. Well, not truth, but more like guesses leading up the 40gig model. The article goes on a couple things that went on recently dealing with Sony that could lead up to the truth to the new SKU. So lets hope....

$400 is just speculation. It could be $500 with Untold Legends and Click packed-in for all we know.

Gosh, I can only hope it's as big and exciting as the rumored game from the TGS that will "save" the PS3.

As a system so far, the PS3 has failed to impress. I'm praying that the October onslaught is everything I hope it to be....mindworm22
