With the Sony Playstation 3 being confirmed for Nov. 2 I was wondering whether the Big Bang Announcement is still going to happen this Friday?

I need to know. I have been holding out waiting for the rumored price drop of the 60gb or the rumored starter pack to get it.

As far as I understand, Sony said that they never announced a Big Bang day. No announcement. But, rumors are circulating that Sony is sending invites to PlayStation Underground members in Canada to come to some... Meeting or something on Oct. 10

id assume that was the big bang anouncement. The 40 gig is a nice deal 2.

Sony denied (as they always do)and claimed this as rumor.

I don't see a Big-Bang announcement happening, unfortunately.

If you look at the release dates from late October till 2008. Not all the games are great. But its about a average of almost one game a day "if you add in some of the days that have 2 to 4 games on the same day." So something in that area should please a few I would think. You can see the list at some of the sites now.
