Here is my situation: I am trying to obtain the Big Boss Emblem in MGS4. I have not killed anyone or eaten rations or any of that stuff, but I am stuck at the motorcycle chase scene. I am at the third "part" out of I believe four of the chase. I have full health but no matter what I do, I cannot get past the frogs in that segment (after the cars flip over you). The grenade launcher would definitely make things easier, but that would rack up kills. Has anyone obtained the Big Boss Emblem, and if so, how in the hell did you manage to get past this part? Thanks.
it is mostly luck. check out youtube, there is a series of videos that show how that guy did it and is very helpfull.
basically, I used autoaim and the tranq until the alley. then threw stuns until the end. it is absolutely impossible to get through the last frog part w/o full health. some people say use smokes, but you need to be accurate as hell with them.
Wow, I forgot about the auto-aim feature. I've never turned it on from the options menu. I've been making these miraculous shots for nothing... Anyway, I certainly don't intend to make it through without losing any health. haha.
But I have been using smokes with some result, but it is difficult like you say.
Thanks for the response, this is by far the hardest part of my attempt at getting the emblem.
turn on the auto aim, then use the right thumbstick to switch between frogs. at the scene where the cars flip and the slow mo, what I did was go into first person and shoot the solar gun at the two frogs then after that part I used the auto aim along with the solar gun to take out the frogs really quickly. Also have the tranq pistol along with the sawed off shot gun with hollow shots. They help a lot this area took me forever maybe a good hour and a half. As soon as you past this part I suggest using smoke grenades to stop some of the frogs but make sure you always have something to shoot and hold triangle to duck behind Big Mama.

No problem but make sure your Solar Gun is fully charged and you can shoot I believe if im not mistaken one shot at the frogs will count as a knockout you dont have to fully charge it, im not 100% sure try it, other than that good luck.
yea iave gotten the emblem. i have to say that part is THE hardest part of the game. what i did was used the tranquilizer. and if u havent found out already use auto-aim. u will need smoke grenades too. throw those at the frogs so u wont get shot as much. if u keep throwing them in the right places u should get past and make it to the raven boss.
i got it just by throwing stuns left and right, but at the same time you have to attempt to aim. i had the same problem, go on youtube and look at DMRythm's big boss walkthrough, hes good.
