Sorry if it's a repost, but I haven't seen this around.

I was browsing Wikipedia today and I came up with this

Big Boss Japanese VA for MGS4

Scroll down to the Video Games section to see what I'm talking about.

This is were it gets interesting, Chikao Otsuka the guy who is supposedly going to be the VA for Big Boss, is the father of Solid Snake's VA, Akio Ohtsuka.

Strange coincidence if you ask me; maybe this just some fanboy's work, but at the same time, I can't say enough about it MGS4, Big Boss is back? WHAT?If this does end up being true, what does Kojima have in store for us!?!?

yeah supposedly..but you know games, they are as bad as movies when it comes to figuring out clever ways to bring back someone from the dead..in this case a graphically enhanced Big Boss would be cool to see. He was a pain on the NES version if he got your cornered if I remember right....thats about the time I'd rip the cart out and throw in Paperboy lol.

I don't know, I'm just speculating on this. But heck, I'd sure love to see him in MGS4, considering the 60 some year old Eva is in this game, who's to say that Big Boss wont pull a fast one on us!

Wasn't Big Boss dead?The-Great-One99

Yes and no....

His toe nail clippings were still at Shadow Moses, so some crazy people decided to reanimate him?

I'm joking...

Yes, he's supposed to be dead. :P

wikipedia is iffy on facts especially about things that aren't widely known yet.

Though Kojima loves to throw curve balls so it's possible.

Look at it this way, if a soap opera can bring back characters that died 20 years ago irl and maintain story archs. So can video games imo.

I'm just excited about whatever mgs4 is going to bring, though I never played the originals when they were out, mgs2 was my first MG, so I'm not as painfully attatched to seeing Big Boss as others perhaps are, though I did really enjoy mgs3's big boss a lot and wouldn't mind seeing a revival of that type of Big Boss. I think Liquid/Ocelot is enough of a super evil villian imo for one game.
