big problem with cod4

i've been trying to play an offline split-screen match with my friends, but the ps3 justs jams whenever i load up a match....... can anybody tell me what i should do???

I recently played split-screen with my brother a few hours ago, didn't have any problems. Maybe you should try reseting your system and try it again.
