Big PSN update tomorrow, 11 PSOne game

Do you guys know why some of them doesn't work with PS3? i thought they would all work after the firmware update...but anways at least ppl who doens't know the PSP now can also benefit. 

Why would you get a HK account, i thought you couldnt buy stuff with foreign accounts, so what would be the point

Like the updates i must put it on a Portable Usb Device and update that way...think it would be the same for games - or would thay be too big?

I personnally forgot why you couldn't use the ps3 to play the downloadable psp games, but I remember there was an article about it on IGN.

 if memory serves me correctly, than it has to do with the programing.. something about the CD key that's imbedded in Playstation 1 games. The ps3 lacked the coding or something like that.  not really sure, but i'm pretty sure the article is still up on IGN. I'll throw up the link later when i have time to go out and find it.

I was always interested in, but never got to play, Arc the Lad so I'm pretty stoked about the release. Especially since it's playable on the PS3 as well.emitsu97

The only things that interest me are Resident Evil Directors Cut (becuase I only started playing RE games at 4) and Bishi Bashi Special becuase it was so feaking amazing. And to be honest i can wait aslong as I have to to play old games, I want new games814StopsToday

 You didnt played RE1 and 0 remakes for gamecube (can play them on Wii)??  The graphics are at the same quality as RE4.  But maybe you are old school...

I bought a gamecube to play RE4, then I played Starfox Adventures and basically forgot I had it

you can??....ive tried a few times to buy the us games with my us psn but it won't accept my credit card details,but it went through no problem with my european account.

I have the Arc the Lad collection that Working Designs translated for the PS1. The first game is kinda short, but the second game is around 80-100 hours -- longer if you add in Monster Arena gameplay. Arc the Lad III used the Pocket Station VMU, which is emulated within the game itself for people that never imported one.

Update 1.7 is supposed to fix this. I don't have any, so I can't say anything personally.
