So, I have the 60GB hard drive. When I had my Xbox (yeah yeah I know I'm in the PS3 forum), I went out and bought a new hard drive to put into it because I ran out of space. Is the same thing possible with the Playstation 3? Do I need a specific type of hard drive or is there somewhere that will do it for you? I enjoy having the demos on my system and don't like having to delete anything. Is there any way this is possible?

1) Any notebook HDD or 2.5 inch SATA HDD (very broad category)

or

2) Buy an external HDD, and just plug it right in! (make sure it's FAT32)

HDDs on the PS3 is extremely easy to change..

Next time you have a question you can head to the "PS3 FAQ Thread" stickied at the top of the PS3 forums ... it will answer most of your questions ... I've also linked it in my sig.

Also, I'd recommend a 5400 rpm HDD, and not a 7200 rpm HDD.

You can use either but 7200 isn't really necessary.
