Alright so I have read a little bit about Bioshock 2 and I am kind of excited about it. I loved the first Bioshock and the atmosphere that it had but it seemed like at the end of the first game that it was done for good and not really open for another game. Obviously the game will still keep the same art style and similar gameplay mechanics but how do you think the story will pan out? Do you think it will be as good or better than the original?

You know how when you get badly cut or scraped, but later on when you get it fixed the pain makes you feel like a badass?

Kinda like that.

Mixed feelings.

Hmmm, it looks promosing. Although I wasn't a big fan of the first, and have now sold it. This one looks a little better, although something about the Bioshock series doesnt appeal to me.

i thought the first game ended with it still being open (notice the bioshock 2 trailer  ) even besides that, you cant expect a city to go without a leader? judging by past females that were in a mechanical suit (looking at mostly samus :P ) big sister is going to look hot, so im excited

The best single player experience i have ever had is probably Bioshock, so you can tell I`m really exited. I can see why someone is a little worried about the story, but 2K has an incredible concept with bioshock, and I`m pretty sure they are gonna do what they can to give us a fantastic single player experience like the first :)

I honestly think it will be amazing. The folks at 2K Marin really know how to craft an excellent story and Bioshock 2 will be no different. And the ability to play as a Big Daddy capable of rational thought and quick movement? Sign me up!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see what you guys are saying, 2K knows what they are doing with their story lines so I guess I shouldnt worry too much about it. Actually one of the only reasons I played Bioshock is because my buddy let me borrow it and after about an hour I was hooked. Oh and Big Sister is going to be the hotness...I hope its kind like the Beauty and the Beast type thing from MGS4 (Crazy *** creatures but beautiful women underneath :D )

It looks great, but I don't think it will be better than the first. The first one had everything.

I have high hopes that it'll be on par or better than the first one, since the guy who was in charge of the Fort Frolic level is the lead behind this game. Fort Frolic was the best chapter in that game.

I'm confident gameplay wise there will be big improvements like mixing plasmids and stuff, I think the story and atmoshpere will live up to the first, the latter may surpass the first, I mean you can walk around outside of Rapture underwater, thats going to add alot to the atmosphere.

Thats true, I forgot about that. I just feel like maybe being a Big Daddy might take away some of the franticness that you felt with the first game and fighting off splicers and Big Daddy's.
