Bioshock Infinite for Vita: There’s ‘No Update’

According to 2k, there is no Update wether or not we will get Bioshock to Vita. We might not see it now, since Irrational Games is closing down.

“It’s something I’m still interested in,” he said back in 2012, “and people ask me that all the time. Right now, I’m just sort of waiting to see what the business people come up with, and that’s sort of out of my hands at this point. That’s something that I think has a lot of potential. The game idea we have has a lot of potential. It’s just a question of [if] their stars all align.”

That game is definitely dead.

yeah it is, i really can't see them doing a port of it now

I thought it was supposed to be an original BioShock game for the Vita, not a port of BioShock Infinite. I guess it doesn't matter because it doesn't sound like they're even close to starting it, which is too bad.

It was never supposed to be a port. It was a great idea Levine has had for a while about a Bioshock Vita. I think we might find out what it was someday, but not right now.

It's never happening.

Good. The last thing Vita needs is another 40$ port of a game people can get for free on PS+, or more likely already played a year ago.
