Black Ops...

I have seen that a lot of peole really hate Black Ops. I am just curious as to why. For me, I think it's a very fun game... I don't think is as good as Modern Warfare 2 by any means, but I do enjoy it.

What I do like about the game is all of the extra little features it has, such as the combat training, community file sharing, statistics, currency system and contracts. I also like the campaign, and I think I am nearly alone in this.

There are a couple of things I really don't care for.. I think I am alone here as well.. I really am not a fan of all of the 'perks'. I truly hate AI controlled vehicles like the cobra, and I think the chopper gunner or "huey" is just ridiculous. Also, and I am almost certain I am alone here, despite being a pretty hardcore zombie fan, I hate zombie mode. I find it to be repetitive and monotonous.. And the zombie map with Romero was just laughable.

But anyways, I'd love to hear what people have to say. Not every game will be loved by all of course, but it seems that some people hate this game with a passion and I was just wondering why. Thanks!!

I hate black ops because it was boring and it lagged a lot

I hate Black Ops because all I do is snipe and I get a hitmarker every 1/2 shots and the community is shot to ****

I HATE BPACK OPS. I love Mw2 because it is the only good COD game that works at the moment. The COD 4 servers are crap now. And Mw2 has quickscoping which Black Ops doesnt. Black Ops added lots of good things IMO such as theater, emblem making, etc. I hated COD points though. That defeated the purpose of earning things. Hopefully MW3 does stuff right, or im screwing COD and going with Uncharted 3 and Battlefield 3. Vanillamarble

i hate Call of Duty because they're all the same. No variety. Well, except for zombies. Thats still fun, while it lasts.

Waste of money when mw2 is better in every way.

I HATE the cod points..what a stupid system.. Having weapons unlocked is way better than having to choose and buy them.

I dont like the maps... the weapons suck (mw2 weapons were awesome!!..and shield! better snipers and better everything really)

Campaign was better in mw2 too.

LAG. You got your crosshairs on someone and fire. No hits at all. They fire back a split second later--your dead. 'nuff said.

as far as the community is concerned, show me a 100,000 plus community thats actually good. Hell, i got people spamming channels in LOTRO. It is what it is.

Im glad so many people are saying about the lag. i thought it was only me. i get on average 11mbps so its not my connection. the whole multiplayer experience is so bad, its near unplayable. i even get the lag/jerkiness in combat training! Another thing i really didnt like (and im not trying to utterly bash the game) is the gun sounds. they sound like plastic toy guns that you can buy from a toy shop. Graphically, its far inferior to MW2. the character models and animations are very bad. it was designed for xbox though, so its just a direct port. this is why it runs so bad on PS3. on the plus side, i actually really enjoyed the campaign. althoughthe plotwas rather cheesy, it had a few twists and turns which made it a bit gripping. And zombie mode is the definate highlight of the game. i agree its a bit monotonous and boring up til about round 10, especially if you die and havve to repeat those levels all over again. but the easter eggs and objectives are really fun. that said, however, i think they have pushed it as far as they can now and its ever so slightly starting to wear thin

I dont hate it it but the framerate on the PS3 version is bad. I dont mind the community because I mute everyone with a mic from the start.

It's the best COD since COD4.

It was more balanced than the past COD games, the campaign was fun, I like the story for it, and zombies is a blast.

I absolutely hate those gangster posers that play CoD. When they're not blasting Lil Wayne or some other artist I hate (no offense to anybody here) through their headseats they're trash talking anybody that moves. "Yo (insert curse word that's quiet enough that their mom won't hear) stop hardscoping i'mma teach you a lesson with my RC-XD!!!!11!!11!!".

Bad hit detection, terrible gunplay (guns sound and feel as if they were made of cardboard) and a boring single player campaign. It looks and plays like a repackaged World at War with modern weapons.
Black Ops is by far the worst COD title I've ever played.

I hate COD in general. It's been a copy & paste series ever since MW2.

Don't own it but everyone says its fun. Getting call of duty 4 tomorrow so i'll see if i like it.

ppl dont really hate black ops, its just the ppl here on GS. cuz there milking it and they think its overrated or whatever. i dont really care i like black ops, i played a crap load im 10th prestige. i like it better than MW2 cuz its more back to the straight up gun fighting action, not all the noobtube and camping crap in mw2. of course theres still campers and wussys online but i think its better in black ops. i agree they are milking it for sure, cuz black ops, although fun and all, the game definately rushed and is a less quality game. the graphics are worse than mw2 and there is a ridiculous amount of lag. but hell its still really fun.

Why do I hate Black Ops? Or CoD in general? The community. By far the worst community I have ever been a part of. Glitching, cheating, cheap tactics. They do it all, and are proud of it. "A herpderp whatever it takes to win". It's atrocious. ACx7
