Black Ops and it's maps

When playing a long session of black ops, I find I play on the same maps 3 or more times before getting a new one. Also there isn't much variety of maps being thrown out there for us to play on. Anyone know why this is the case?

Interesting. I've never run into this problem. My maps are always new ones unless the lobby votes to play the same map again. Thank God they put that patch in that you can only vote for the same map once. In the beginning I was palying the same map like five times beforethe lobbywould change it.

I've never really run into this problem, except before the patch where awful maps like Nuketown would be played until the lobby closed. There are obvious favorites that always get picked between the two choices, but as far as random maps and all it seems to balance things out nicely.
