black ops dlc question

Hey.i have a japanese ps3.but my psn account is indian.Is it okay if i download the maps from the US store??I heard somewhere that unlike the games,ps3 dlc is not region free.All replies are appreciated

my black ops is region 1.i'm guessing it falls under US and JAPAN.if i get the maps from my US account,will i be able to use them on my indian psn.And will using the map pack on my indian account count as sharing(as it was downloaded on my US psn?
