Blu-ray should be uncompressed while cable companies use atrocious compression methods to allow a HD movie over their bandwidth. Blu-ray = better.

FALSE, the PQ on Blu-Ray is horrible they use a riduculous codec MPEG-2 while HD-DVD uses a far superior codec VC-1 which is why HD-DVD movies have a much better picture quality, GO READ THE REVIEWS before posting false crap
