I am thinking of buying a PS3, not just for the games, but the the high def mvoies. I have a HD TV but it dosnt have a HDMI output, and i was wondering if you need the HDMI to run high def movies, or does the composite cable that comes with with the pack do the same job. If it dosnt, then what cable do i need?

You'll need component cables. They are analog. But they do do HIGH-DEF. Composite cables are analog and LOW-DEF (SD) only. DVI and HDMI are digital and high-def. But not many HDTV use DVi. Mostly monitors. HDMi is the only one that carries both audio and video though a single cable. The others, audio is separate cables (R/W or optical). Here's some PS2/PS3 component cables.
