Bluray Movies Now DOWNSCALED to 720p. (or so I have read)

I read a few guys confirming on another site.

Yeah, it has been talked about in other threads.  I tried it last night on my 720p screen and it in fact works.

Yep it works perfectly in 720p now but Im still leaving it on 1080i :P lol

 Really ... ? I check it last night as well and I saw almost no difference and as well it was outputting at 720p . Hmm odd

yeah, I thought that too until i compared the PS3 scaling DVD to my TV. The PS3 scaling looks about 10x better.

i think you are mistaken

most 720p TV's can accept 1080i and scale it... 

some tv's don't do that i guess

ALL 720p tv's does - no exceptions

Wrong -a 720p tv that can also display 1080i will not convert it to 720p .

uhhh you know that some tvs upscale better than others right?   not to mention the overscan problem.
