Yeah here in Greece I've seen 2 HDDVD players. Period. Not a single movie. In fact, most of the stores here support Blu-Ray exclusively. I think it's a pretty Sony centered country though as nobody here owns a Wii and the PS3 constantly outsells the 360 here while every store advertises that they sell Sony products. To Greeks, if it's a Sony, it's quality.

Suh-weet! :D I live in Canada, so that doesn't directly affect me though. I do have about 10 blu-rays - why would I buy an hd-dvd player if I have a ps3 already?

HD-DVD actually has a lifeline in the U.S. but outside it's basically done.

Same here in Germany. In the great shopping malls for electronic products the numbers of Blue-Ray's is equal to the numbers of HD-DVD's.

I live in the US and I will not buy anything on HD DVD even if it's something I would like to own (instead I will just get the DVD version as a last resort).

Yup, exactly. Transformers was my first casualty.
