Hey there. Quick question about the Borderlands DLC. I stopped playing at level 42 and havent played any of the DLC yet. I loved the game and stopped playing a little bit into the second playthrough. I want to play the new DLC that raises the level cap to 61 (The Secret Armory of General Knoxx), but what level do you have to be to start the game? Can I go right into it at 42, or do the enemies start at 50? Also, should I wait to purchase any of the DLC thinking that they will come out with a new version of the game including all of the DLC?

The enemies in the dlc adapt to your level so if your 42 they will be 42 as well.

That actually depends. I wanna say that hes right becuz the dlc devs said this dlc is targeted towards lvls 34 to 50 but idk cuz when i played it, I died like 15 times trying to take over the roadblocks andcountless other times during all the first missions. Be prepared, when you start off ull be facing alot of enemies that are 3 or 4 levels ahead of you. When i was playing i was a level 50 and the lance troopers were all levels 52 53 and 54. Ocaisonally when you start off some of the troopers will be the same level as you. But i guess that depends on where you go in the dlc. But you should definitely get it. It breathes new life and adds 3 new vehicles and soooo much more. It will definitely keep you busy for 10+hours with the side missions, exploring and story missions.

Sweet. Thanks for the info. I'll be downloading it as soon as they fix the current problem with the "fat" ps3's.

I found it really depends on which play through I select... I take a good beating if I choose play through 2 but if I select 1 they are about the same level as I am (40ish).

Depends.

Play1 they are about lvl 35+

Play2 they are about lvl 51+

-----

They basically play as a continue to the main game, so normally, in play 1 you finish it at level 35+... so thats why the DLC continues in those lvls. Same with Play2... the game asumes you finished the play2.

I played mostly Play2 (avoided play 1 as for bing too easy) and the enemies (the 1st ones) are lvl 51... after a while you will find lvl 54, 56, 61, even 1 64.
