Hey everyone,

I haven't been so hooked on a game in so long... I didn't think I would like Borderlands, and I am glad I am wrong. I have been playing for over 15 hours and I am enjoying every aspect of the game. My hunter, has level up his bird to max on everything, and I love the power of walking into a gang site and releasing my bird to kill up to 7 people! Awesomeness.

For those of you who are playing, where does your character stand? Are you enjoying the game as much as I am?

I loved the game, and if it had a working chat function, I would still be playing it to this day. Everything else in the game is awesome, from the concept to the art, Borderlands is definatley among the top of my PS3 picks.

See, I haven't have the privilage to play with chat function since I don't have a mic, which I really need to pick up, but it's just fun overall. I do think it's one of my top picks besides uncharted and mgs4.

P.S your avatar photo freaks me out.. lol

boarderlands was awesome. i got it the day it was released then just recently got rid of it. at my pinical i had a siren caracter that was dealing all but one elemental damage in a single attach combo with no weapon switching and would litterly end stunning any enemy/boss who survived. my smg was a shotgun spread doing massive damage and over 150% accurate i had another smg that i had over 200% accurate with a scope that i would use as a sniper rifele effectivly. thinking about it makes me miss the game.

The upgrades for the bird are pretty nifty. The ones I have so far for the bird is shortened cooldown(Maxed out), getting healed a portion of the damage it gives(Maxed out), getting more items and ammo on people the bird attacks(Maxed out) and a chance of dazing an opponent(1 point). I'm looking forward to that upgrade you are talking about where it attacks multiple people in one go. But that'll have to wait until my PS3 is fixed or I buy a new one, which is probably when I'll start playthrough 2 with the higher level enemies.

have you been playing it online as well? how is it? i was very keen to get the GOTY edition but decided not to considering the reduced community and rampant cheating.

I play both on and off line dude. I havent seen any cheaters, I do see the occaisonal high level person who always goes to the arena's and wants to fight, and everytime you try and exit it wont allow you to. Honestly, the people online are awesome, and there are always people on. So it's worth it. Also, i didn't buy the GOTY edition, so I have to pay the 9.99 extra for each download, do yours is a steal IMO

Awesome stuff man, honestly, when you get the multi-attack for the bird, it becomes to easy! you just walk in and he kills everyone in sight, also, if you are at a boss, you let him loose, and he will hit the boss as many times as you level it.

It's pretty good. The only problem with it is that it's short. Maybe the Knoxx DLC should be your first one. I'm having a blast with it so far.

Knoxx used to allow you to increase your level cap by purchasing the DLC. However, there was a recent patch that allowed everyone, even those without the DLC, to max their characters out at level 69.

ohh, sweet. That's awesome. I wish they would have made the cap higher though. Like the basic level 99 or 100.

Also, what about some really good weapons. I seem to be fighting the same weapons everywhere. Where are some really good ones.

The zombie DLC is short, but is very good, specially if you go after the Brains trophy, I'm not saying what it is, you will have a nice surprise. I would stay away from Moxxi's DLC though, those challenges are tedious, unless you want the 5 trophies available. I'm still working on the last challenge of Moxxi's DLC, then I'll start the Knoxx DLC.

I also recommend the last DLC (Robot Revolution). I left the Knoxx DLC for last cause I think you need to be at least level 61 to beat him (that's what I heard), even after playing the first playthrough, did some good missions on the second playthrough, 100% completed the zombie DLC, 100% completed Robot Revolution DLC and almost done with Moxxi's DLC, I'm still at level 50:cry:.

I'm playing, but don't; have the DLC or GOTY. However please add me corigan69 if you want to play some. I play real early in the mornings usually EST, always looking for some fun. Have a Level 22 beserker or so, and a level 7 hunter.

Zombie DLC is amazing and more than worth the money it costs to get it...however there are some parts where your FPS take a HUGE dive (enough to intentionally avoid some area's completley). But a mere blemish on an otherwise perfect DLC. I loved the arena too btw....heck now that I think of it, all the DLC's are beast.

Just bought the GOTY edition. Have no ideas about upgrades or mods or weapon effects or anything like that yet, but really looking to get into it. Any heads up advice before starting would be appreciated

The beginning starts slow.... so play online with peeps so you can level up a bit quicker than on solo play.

I'm glad you like it and if you buy the DLC you'll be playing for hours and hours, but me..I can't stand the game.
