Borderlands is a pretty incredible game...

While I'm still not a huge fan of the graphical style there isn't anything particularly wrong with it. In all honesty it is more lively than Fallout 3. I think the gameplay is a combination of XIII and Stalker: Shadows of Chernobyl only with more guns. The amount of guns is pretty sickening. I have already got 6-8 hours in with a Soldier, my friend has a Hunter he just started on my console and I am considering a Berserker. Very fun and addicting gameplay, I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of:

- Fallout 3

- XIII

- Stalker: Shadows of Chernobyl

- Deus Ex

It is pretty incredible. I'm about three hours into the Xbox 360 version, and have loved every minute of it. Also, it has one of the best openings of all time.

dont forget to included fans of Diablo or any loot grinding game. The only downside to the game is there so many gun choice i cant choose which to keep, i want them all!!!

How much is it like fallout 3? because if it is molded after it, or takes a lot of elements from it then i won't pick this one up.

Congrats to Gearbox on this one. They finally have an original IP that is all their own & nobody can take it from them. I hope the game does well for them. I'll decide on a purchase soon.

Npc's that give the quests, lvling, skill trees, loot.

Are there towns that you have to visit or anything? or is it all taken place in the same area?

you, plus 3 others for a total of 4 players online, or 2 players offline. Oh and there are 4 character classes.
