Borderlands underrated?!

What an awesome game, I still can't put down the controller. I'm surprised by this as I've never had any interest towards FPS games, but from a JRPG fan, I wanted something different and tried this game out. I love the loot aspect, leveling, quest missions, graphics... personally, I think this game goes as far away an FPS game goes, and is more heavily based on an RPG style, yet very fast paced action.

I know it's been out for awhile, but I've never heard much about this game. It's not underrated as there's a GOTY, but seems like one of those missible great titles out there.

Any word on a sequel to this game as I've heard rumours going around?

Borderlands was pretty fun but I only enjoyed it when I had friends to play with.And if you play alone it gets boring real quick.. I didn't even know the story very well other than your a mercanery and saving the planet or so.

Boarderlands started out a lot of fun, Really good game to play with friends. But i donno I found it got really boring after playing for a while. I still got the plat. in it tho. :P Easy game to platinum.

Game is utterly amazing, whether solo or playing with friends. I bought it back in December and still haven't put it down.

So to each their own I guess.

I think it's a great game. I played it at my friends house and it was so hard to put the controller down. I'm gonna pick this up soon because it's that damn good.

Though the game recieved great reviews, i do think it's still underrated. I bought the GOTY Edition 3 months ago and am still playing. Mordecai and Lilith FTW!!!!

I love that game. I've mostly played solo so far though because our mics won't work when I try to play with my friend online. We tried another game and our mics worked fine so it wasn't the mics.

Curious.. last time I played the game I had problems being heard on my mic too, & it was only on Borderlands... are you using the official wireless headset as well? I found that putting the mic right to your mouth works, but obviously then you can't wear it... I suspect the last patch screwed up the voice chat tbh.

Anyway I love Borderlands, it's my GOTY 2009.

one of my favorite games of all time

great with friends because classes compliment each other and make enemies more challenging

we invested too much time into this game because we have 2 or 3 characters of every class

can not wait until the sequel is announced

it was a cool game when it was released , but once all the equipment save gamehacking begun , the game became unplayable online

I don't often hear too much praise for the game, so I'd rather not spend the money and find out the lack of praise was right.

At first I hated the game when I borrowed it off a friend for months, after a long break from it I bought the game cheap and thought it was amazing on the second chance.

Playing my first playthrough on the pc, got the GOTY Editon for 7.99 :) Best $7.99 i ever spent.

In my opinion Borderlands is overrated. Exploration is fun and addictive, but it isn't open world like you're led to believe and the cell shaded graphics are ugly.

I think it was overated...
