Totally, i dropped down the 60 dollars day 1, and havent put the game down since, its just super addictive. If you've been following this game and it looks interesting to you, i say go for it.
I'd say it's more of a $30 game. It's fun, but incredibly repetitive and character customization is pretty weak, leaving you with a husk of a Diablo clone in first-person and a very unsatisfying game if you don't play co-op.
Yes, yes, yes! I was on the fence about the game as well, ignored the gamespot review, and just went with my gut - always makes the correct choice. Amazing game. :D
I am having fun, just left Fyrestone and hit level 20. It is fun, so much loot that drops. Too bad you don't get a storage vault to put some of the cool stuff u get. I have weapons that I don't meet the requirements for yet that I don't want to carry around for space until I do. I hope they come out with some DLC and expansions.

I too am sorely dissapointed there is no storage vault in the game. Sometimes I get two or three different sniper rifles that I like, but end getting rid of two of them because I don't have enough room in my bag. It's frustrating. :cry:

LoL! My sig is harmless, it's just how I feel. Anyway, I don't think there's anything to compare inFamous with Borderlands but if you enjoy shooters, funny dialoge, Mad Max movies, lots of loot, apocalyptic game settings like the Fallout series and bad@ss weapons, then you'll have a blast with Borderlands.
