Bought a refurb PS3 on ebay for $415. Now I need some info:

1) Which game do I buy first?

2) How hard is it to setup streaming video from my computer to my PS3? Instructions anywhere?

3) I have a PSP. What does that do for me as far as my PS3 is concerned?

4) Anything else I need to know?

Thanks guys.

EDIT: One more thing. What is the hard drive used for primarily? Do you have to install games on the PS3? Or is it just for media and such? Thanks again.

Just ignore the Master Cheif guy. Anyway to your questions:

1. I reccomend buying Reistance Fall of Man and Oblivion. You might like to try Virtua Fighter 5 if you are a beat 'em up fan

2. Sorry, I haven't a clue

3. You can use the remote play faeature. Basically, it means that you can access all the media on your PS3 from your PSP, no matter where you are in the country. ( You''ll need to download the latest firmware to do this)

4. Hmmm, check out all the games from Sony's gamer's day. I'm pretty sure you be impressed by a few at least.

1) Depends on you. If you like shooters : Resistance. If you like racers : Motorstorm. If you like RPGs : Oblivion. You could rent them if you can't make up your mind.

The Hard-drive is used for multiple things. Media is one thing. Firmwares take some place on the disc, as well as game patchs and updates. You can download some arcade games from the PSN and they will be installed on the drive. Calling All Cars is a great game if you want to check it out. Many games also use the hard drive for storing game information. Deleting that file will not delete your progress, what it mainly does is help on loadings.

with remote play you can access music, videos, and pictures stored on your ps3 at any time from your psp as long as your ps3 is on and you can access wireless internet where you are.

So say you have a movie saved to your hard drive and you want to watch it but aren't home. As long as you have your psp with you, you can watch it on that.
