Bought my first console as a PC Gamer

Okay, going to have to say it. You picked up Uncharted 2 but not 1?Blacklight2

Got a little tired and bored of the current PC game selections and I was on vacation so I just said screw it and purchased a PS3. My first console since N64. I plugged it in my hdtv and I am completley blown away. CANNOT BELIEVE I WAITED THIS LONG!!! I didn't get any sleep for like 30 hours the games are so amazing! I picked up Red Dead, Bioshock 2, Infamous, Dead Space, Uncharted 2, GoW 3, and Demon's Souls. So far I got a couple hours into Red Dead and Infamous, and most of my time has been on Demo's Souls so far. Other games still shrink wrapped. I am so impressed with these games that I cannot believe it. The exclusives the PS3 has is crazy! Anyway, thought I would make my first post here. Also anyone try a PS3 on one of those 4 color hdtvs that now add yellow to blue red and green, and if so does it look much nicer? Also I have yet to try anything online or multiplayer, was thinking of getting the PS3 earpiece but haven't decided. Thanks.Angron51

Nice, welcome to the ps3 family. I know you have a lot of games on your plate at the moment but here are some to look for in the future unless you have them for the PC.

Batman AA, Borderlands, Modern warfare 2, Dragon Age, Final Fantasy 13, Heavy Rain, Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5, Metal Gear Solid 4

Future releases:

Killzone 3, Infamous 2, Final fantasy VS 13.

BTW, have you played Whispered World on PC ? I strongly recommend this one, it is my only PC game in years, but was stunnign too

As for your first question I have absolutely no clue. For the second however, it's completely up to you. It depends whether you have a good array of friends to communicate with. Otherwise, getting one would seem pointles as generally, many people don't use headsets because they are being charged and saved for when they talk to their friends. That said, if you are going to get one, I would get a wired headset. Not only do they cause less health problems but they don't need charging!

Im an ex PC gamer. I really havnt regreted stopping the madness of upgrading my pc to keep up with the times constantly.

PS3 is great, the only PC game I still play these days is HON.

hehehe, i think i was 200+ hours in on new game +++++ soul level 245... just make sure you don't get sucked in too deep. And TC, make sure you look into the borderlands dlc, it is awsome. and feel free to add me on psn if you ever need guidance

Pick up Heavy Rain to along with that.
