Bought used PS3, don't know previous owner's password to deactivate her account

I bought a used PS3. And because the previous owner's account is still activated on it, I can't activate mine. Since I don't know his/her password, I can't deactivate his/her account and acvivate mine. Help!

Create a new user login for the ps3 and activate your psn on that account and just delete the old the old login.

I dont care what the origin of the ps3, best answer-format ps3 and never worry again...

My ps3 is used, in what manner...feel free to imagine, I personally like to believe i bought mine from aliens.
