Just opened up my Uncharted Bundle, and I plugged everything in, turned on the console, and started to set up the system. Right in the middle of connecting it to my wifi it just turns off, and will not turn back on. The back switch is on, the outlets work...... What am I doing wrong?

you could do that, OR you could call Sony and tell them your brand new PS3 is **** and it won't work. They'll replace it for free since it's still obviously in warranty. ;)

Don't forget to tell them you'll send them cookies with your ps3.

Why would you do that. Exchanging it yourself would be a lot quicker.

unplug it, plug it back in

check to see if you are plugged into a surge protector, if so, did that get switched off?

try a different power cable, you could unplug the power cable from your pc and plug it into your ps3 for a sec to see if thats it

make sure the switch in the back is on, then hold your finger over the power button for a couple of seconds

if that dont work, do the hammer thing

Don't send it to Sony, you'll get a refurbished one back. Take it back to where you bought it, and get a new one. After the 30 days are up, then go through Sony.

Call Sony and see how long it will take for them to send you another one.. it might be easier and take less time to just take it back to the store you bought it and swap it over.

The proper point of contact would be the retailer you bought it from.

He bought it ONLINE. He didn't buy it at a store like Best Buy, therefore, he's going to have to wait a while to get a new PS3 back no matter what he decides to do.

better to send it back to dell and know your going to get another NEW one than sending to sony and most likely getting a refurb. This is why i like to buy stuff from stores. Wallmart even gives you a 90 day in store return were u can get a replacment OR cash refund.
