Brink - To Revolutionize FPS???

Brink seems like a Mirrors Edge (Character movemont through terrain), Killzone 2 (Similar Physics and weight somewhat) and Battlefield (Destructible Environments) gameplay mix, do you guys think this game is going to have great potential? I heard its going to have 8player coop for sure. Do any of you know if its going to have PvP multiplayer?

Nothing beats Mirror's Edge in FPP, NOTHING!

That said, it looks like Brink may do something unique - it's just a matter of whether it'll fall on its face or not.

It looks promising so far

Brink sort of gives me hope for really fun multiplayer battles--the COD MW 1 and 2 kind. I'm really looking forward to Brink--the fluidity of the gameplay has impressed me beyond anything else;i think I'm pre-ordering a copy of this :P

the fps genre can only be revolutionized when we have a truly natural and authentic way of controlling the the character topped off with some kind of holographic display.Which means we're far off.However Brink will still be fun to play.

I'd like to pick up Brink, but when money's tight it's hard to spend money on "maybes" when you know there are games that are a sure thing.

I'm staying neutral on this game because a lot of FPS games tried to "revolutionize" the way the genre is played but end up falling flat on their face for example: Timeshift and Haze.Flame_Blade88

Agreed. However Timeshift, not so bad. Not great, but I've played worse. Haze. YUCK!

After what I have seen so far. I have high hopes for this game. I hope for a demo before release.

But it will have to compete with bullet storm.
