Brothers In Arms HH, worth buying??

I loved the first 2 BIA games, and I was thinking about buying the 3rd one. I saw the review from IGN, and it kinda made this game out to be another game in a long line of glitch ridden titles this gen. But gamespot gave it a really good review (but they've been pretty damn spotty in their reviews lately).

So is it worth a buy? Are the glitches/bugs really that bad? Is the combat satisfying?

Any help would be appreciated.

well i have to say this game is good but . its really glitchly. not something i will spend $60 on acsam12304

So it sounds like you haven't played it? or did you rent it? I haven't found any glitches really. However, the single player was pretty short, but once I limited the hud and removed the suppression icons above the enemy, the game became a lot more fun. And on the hardest difficulty, it's even more fun.

Also, I think I was one of the only people that enjoyed the first BiA's mp. I liked commanding the troops and then flanking other people. But I agree that the new mp is utter crap. It got old after about 2 games. This is all just my opinion though.

Oh, so basically I don't think it's worth it for $60- probably $30 or less though.

i have played the game for about 6 hours and about half way finished i have a 50inch HD 1080p TV i have seen some blurry stuff for example sometimes your men uniforms are miss colored and well blurry other than that the game is really good the story is amazing if there was a band of brothers game this would be it as you no if you have played the first 2 brothers in arms plus this brothers in arms has alot to do with that pistol that was in the first 2 in this game they found a good mix of cutsences and gameplay i think if you like a story game u should get this

I'm a few levels in and I like it... kinda reminds me of a WW2 version of GRAW or RSV, but with more giblets.

The controls are a little temperamental, it glitches out a bit and the graphics are sorta all over the place (going from meh to wow in the same level at times). Those are the bad things. So far, I'd give it an 8.0 or 8.5 in spite of that though. I'm talking single player. Haven't tried the multi, I heard it wasn't great, but a lot of people think that about RSV and I loved RSV's multiplayer (on 360 anyway, which is where I played that game).

Let's put it like this, when it's good, yes it's worth the price tag but when it acts up (it will, a lot) then no. Chances are you'll find yourself having to finish mission objectives by yourself as your squad mates either get stuck and won't respond, they'll die from taking stupid paths in the line of fire to reach the cover you've assigned them to etc. When it's good however, it's really good. You'll snipe, you'll drive a tank, you'll flank, using your squad overpowering the enemy for that sweet feeling of victory, you'll go solo through houses and systematically clear houses, you'll grenade the daylights out of german soldiers and you'll enjoy some mostly slick graphics and great story.

Was it worth 60 bucks? Haven't finished the game (almost) but so far, it's 50-50 for me. It's your call. I'd give it a good rental perhaps, seeing as it's fairly short and can be played through in a weekend. If you absolutely love it and need the MP after having rented it, then wait until the price drops.

I've got the game today and so far i am really enjoying it. Personally I do not thinkI could give online a bash just yet.

Also there is no law in saying you cant have both you know.... unless there was and I don't know about it

well yeah because i saw gameplays u know ! before brothers in arms was out i knew cod5 is better !
