Brutal legend demo impressions

Well I just downloaded the demo yesterday, it seemed cool to me, although animations were REALLY bad, I was not happy with the graphics either, combat system was kind of a fun but it got repetitive, I disliked the lack of HUD, mainly because the damage system is like the one of an FPS, and they should never put that on an adventure game, it makes it way too easy, a DMC-like HP bar would have done the job better.

I enjoyed the demo, but I think it was because it was hell of a funny, I mean, the things that the guy said and all "dont tell me i've been killing hot girls!" and all that stuff, it was really cool, but dont know...I can predict and 8.0 or a 7.5 from gamespot...

loved this demo, now considering buying or at least renting

The grafics wasnt very well made, something which I dont find very important. Too many people are beginning to rely too much on the grafics, instead of the gameplay. Jack Blackis absolutely greatin this role... I loved it a lot.

I've heard a ton of hype about the game but knew nothing about it. That usually puts ANY game under suspicion in my opinion as it seeme like unwarranted hype that will never live up to reality.

I downloaded and played the demo and I liked it a lot. I thought it was like God of War but done in a funny, self-referential way. The demo shows that the gameplay will be very diverse as it contains rythm sections, driving sections, etc, which kept me sucked into the game.

I give it a thumbs up and think it will be a great title.

I didn't think twice about this game but now that I've played the demo, I might give it a rent.

I played the demo and just like i thought, I LOVED it. BRUTAL LEGEND is amazing! The demo was just a thin, thin slice of what the game really is. For what is basically a tutorial that demo was hilarious and awesome. Definitely I am buying this game, especially since I pre ordered. BRUTAL LEGEND will be my favorite game of the season. Plus did anyone see Tim Schafer on Jimmy Fallon friday?

I liked it, but i just really really liked the cutscenes, im not expecting super game play, but just playing so i can get to the next cutscene!

its defiently a rental right now just because its funny but ill wait for reviews to decide if its a purchase. i need to know the gameplay stays at least somewhat fresh. with all the good games coming out this needs to really have a strong review for me to dedicate more money towards it. demon souls and uncharted 2 are already getting my money for october. mw2 ac2 borderlands and ratchet and clank are all on my watch list with at least the first two as damn near sure bet buys. its not so much money but time as well. i really want to spend the proper amount of time with both demon souls and uncharted so maybe a rental and speed run through brutal legend for the funny story is in order.

For me it's a rent it was very well not the best graphics or physics thinking of maybe renting for 3 days laugh my ass off and get a couple trophies etc and well nothing more to it.
