Brutal Legend Question

I'm Black and dont really listen to metal. But the game is 20 bucks. Do you think I should get it or not? I have been looking at some reviews, it does seem fun.....idk. Thoughts?

P.S. I really open minded with games.....Im a Gamer.

You can easily turn off the music.

I'm not annoyed by the music it's just not something I ride to. Who knows I might start to like itif I play the game idk.

i would just rent it for a few days my cousin borrowed me it for a day. i plyed it for 3 hrs and it said i was 32% completed. and i pecked off half the time it seem like it could be beat in 10hrs. i didnt give the multi a play because im more of a warhawk&fps man.

Get the game... i don't listen to metal either, i hate it actually, and yet i managed to have a lot of fun with the game, and even find some songs i like :D And since it's that cheap, you really shouldn't have any doubts, it's simply a great game, if a bit on the short side...

I wasnt really into the music either but i enjoyed the game for the most part (rental). Not sure if i would buy it myself because of the unexpected RTS gameplay. I thought it was just going to be a fun hack-n-slash but its a lot more involved than that.

I'm not big into metal, but it's worth a shot. Very interesting gameplay, and the script is hilarious. It's more of a question of whether or not you like Jack Black.

I'm not into metal either, I bought Brutal Legend because I heard good stuff from my friends who are also avid gamers. Where did you find the game for $20. I paid $40 (after tax). It's a good game IMO.

ok.....thanks for the opinions. I guess I will make a stop by best buy. I get it for cheap because Im a premium member. I also think Jack black is funny.

I dunno if you were a metalhead you would get more from the game. I say pass

I'm not really a metal fan though it did have some really good songs on it I mostly bought because I like Jack Black and it really was a great game the RTS parts were annoying though.

I don't like metal either and the game was still fun... Deff watch reviews on it first tho cuz I thought the game was a tru FPS and it is not at all..itsa lot of point ur troops in that direction and they fight for you...you have to buy new soldiers and it's a stradgey game where you command troops...But if ur black go buy the 50 cent game. Hahaha

Youll get more out of the game if you do like metal, theres a bit of a wow factor of hearing Ozzy or Lemmy or whoevers voice in the game. Download the demo and decide for yourself. Keep in mind though, its very short and the multiplayer is an rts game, not hack and slash.

I'm a huge metal fan, so my thoughts may not matter to you. But if you're a fan of Jack Black, then totally give it a try. It's a funny game, with some great RTS gameplay. I'm usually not a fan of strategy games, but I really enjoyed this one.
