Does anybody else have their Sixaxis controllers act crazy on em in-game? When I first got my PS3, this happened rarely, but now it seems it happens at least once everytime I play a game! Like when I'm in the middle of a firefight in Rainbow Six, the controller acts up and I end up getting killed! WTF?

Are you guys talking about the motion in the Sixaxis?

I have 6 Sixaxis controllers and they all work fine. The only time one of them acts up is when it only has 1 charge bar left.

Happened twice. Once when I was playing R6 and once when I turned on my PS3.

HERE IS THE FIX

What you have is something else nearby causing interference. For me it was my cordless phone which I moved to the other side of the room and ever since no problems. For other people I've heard Microwave ovens freak them out. Think about what is close by, could be a phone, another PC, etc... And get it out of there.

Happened today while playing online Rainbow six...

Was hiding and three enemies were in my base, i tried to get out and throw a grenade/shoot and my controller just stuck there and they killed me. I coulda got all 3 of them easily.

My bluetooth headset was there so that coulda been the problem....happens rarely to me

Yeah, I think its just interference too. But this happens to me so rarely that I haven't really been bothered by it.

Im starting to think its the controller. I have 3 of them and out of them one never has had the problem so I continue to use it and never had the disconnect issue.

I really don't know if a replacement would actually do anything to help. It might, but there is also a chance the new one would have exactly the same problem if its just interference. A lot of wireless devices now adays run on pretty similar frequencies so its not surprising that this could happen. I know I can't set my wireless router to channel 6 (simple name for a different frequency) because my portable phone in the house runs on that frequency so if I set it to that my routers wireless network goes haywire. So I have to keep it on something else. I think this is just the same thing. That would explain why some people have no problem, some have little problems, and some have worse problems. Just depends on whats around them. That's my stab at a cause at least. :P

This is driving me nuts right now. I'm using K/M for Unreal Tournament and the same damn thing happens.....my guy just starts spinning in circles, usually ending in me getting plastered. It used to happen about once an hour in Ratchet, RFOM, and Uncharted, but now......every 5 minutes at it's worst.

Does ANYONE have an actual fix? (My wireless phones are on different channels too....fyi.)

Sometimes. When I'm a little far away it will start to bug out, same if I'm away from the Bluerooth area. Sometimes it happens when I'm low on battery.

That's not very much, though. I'd say closer to rare this happens.

I dont have anything else bluetooth around, and mine does this frequently. Especially when I play CoD4 lately. It did it a lot during Resistance and Oblivion. Then, it didn't happen at all for a long time. Never during Godfather, or during any PS2 games at all. Not once during Uncharted or Assasins Creed, but now like I said, it is doing it during CoD4. Really irritating....

Nope....hasn't happened to me...but the interference issue that EmperorSupremesuggests sounds valid...
