How do you know it's something to do with PS3? It could just be something to do with the Halo seris for 360 like a spin-off =/CTUDude

Announce a big Xbox 360 announcement from Bungie AFTER the PS3 conference so it steals the show away from them. I hope it's something for the PS3 but I have a sick feeling it might just be a ploy to divert attention away from what every Sony says.

The countdown end's well after sony's conference.

The reason it's probably not been announced at 360's briefing is proably because bungie has just went independent and probably want the hype on there website, also it could be they had not finished the tralier or what not yet so they postponed it till 5am wed, as on the podcast they said they had a announcment on july 14th which turned out just to be a timer,i could be wrong but thats my thoughts.

Also read up on bungie's independence agrrements stuff, basicly they still owe microsoft some exclusive games so there's a good chance its an announcement for a 360 game, the rumored non master chief halo is the likely candidate, again i could be wrong.

I'd say there's good chane bungie will start making multi-plat games in the future but expect the next few to be 360 exlusives.

you are crazy if you dont think they did it for money as well. I'll let you in on a little secret that my criminal justice professor told me my freshman year in college, everybody is driven by money. if you can't even see that in todays society then you are either living under a rock or your family is so sickly rich that you get whatever you want and dont even realize people aren't as lucky as you are.

Every BUSINESS decision in todays society and for the rest of time will be made based off of how much money they can get. If you think sony execs are sitting around thinking "ok how can we make our fans more happy" you are mistaken. They are sitting in there saying "ok how can we make more money and still make our customers think we care about them" there is only one thing they, and M$, and Nintendo think about. And thats money.

Ahhh, yes they did. FFVII was announced for the "Ultra 64" and they even made a tech demo with FFVI characters. They then announced later on that FFVII and all future development was going to the Playstation. It was Nintendo's fault though, they promised so much with their hardware and it was not even a third of what they promised in the end and rather crap to be honest. The "cd-rom is not the future" bulls*** was the nail in their coffin.
