A guy I met said Ratchet was one of the most fun games he had ever played, but I don't know if he has played Burnout. I've only played the demos of each one so I don't know what to tell you.
I would. I own both, and I personally did NOT like the open world environment of this Burnout. IMO, it ruined the game. Burnout was perfect the way it was. Ratchet, however, is a blast and I totally enjoyed it. Great next-gen debut. That's my two cents.

I haven't played R&C, only the demo which was a bit of fun but it has no multiplayer and I imagine once you complete it you will be bored of it.
You should probably just rent R&C but if you really want to buy it save up don't trade in another game unless you really don't like it, you will ultimately be loosing money.

Wow I dd not like burnout paradise. They took away the stuff I liked from the older games. Plus I dont really play it much so I dont know the map well. So for me its more of a navigation game than a racing game! which is incredibly boring.

I totally agree, Ratchet and Clank is way better and lots more fun than burnout :)
Ratchet is waaaaaaaay too short and if it were me I would definitely regret selling burnout for it. There's a time when you just want some burnout and I would be dissapointed if I saw some furry dude with a pile of metal on his back instead.
Why get rid of Burnout? Ratchet is a very good game, but after watching my wife play it nonstop for 3 weeks I am starting to hate that stupid fuzzball and his goofy metallic sidekick. Still beats watching her play Pyotama for hours though. I still don't understand why you would get rid of Burnout.
ok ratchet and clank ToD is the **** i love this game soooo much. but one thing about it is once u beat it ure never gonna play it again. i think burnout is a longer game in general and has more replay value.
