I'm a Burnout fan because I like causing mayhem and driving people off the road and such,so definitely Burnout...but if they've gotten rid of the crash junctions, like they have with the aftertouch and shunting, I might not even buy it.
GT5 all the way for me. I have absolutely loved GT ever since I played GT3. Gran Turismo basically is a car lovers dream game. Burnout is good if you like arcade racers, speed & explosions but in terms of pure racing goodness GT has it hands down.
if i want to actually race and for cars and everything in a racing game, i go with GT5 prologue, but burnout paridise is very fun for playing online and craching and doing jumps and stuff. I just hate the racing in cities because I never really know exactly which way to take and just end up running into walls except inany GTA type gameswhen it involves runing away from cops or bad guys.
if you can't chose by yourself, it's because you aren't a true amateur of racing games ... so i definitly suggest you Burnout (actualy i wouldn't recommend GT5 prologue to anyone ... and waiting for the full game to come out of just TOO long)
dude, why ask? Get both. Of course GT is going to be good, and as long as the new Burnout is like the 3rd one and legends for PSP then it's going to be awesome. One is a racing sim, the other is a frantic phsyco-drive-crash-fest game.
GT5 is more of a simulation game so it's definitely for the hardcore while Burnout is more arcade like. If I hadto pickI wouldchoose GT5 becauseI'm more into simulation racing games. Plus I would spend more timeon the game. Everyone would....if you're a fan of simulation racing. This game is not for you if you can't understand camber angles, toe in toe out, dampers and everything else that will be in the game.
