I just got my copy of Burnout Paradise today! First of all, the game is INSAINE!!! After about two hours of playing Paradise I decided to take a break and turn off my PS3. When I came back and started up Burnout, I was promted to download an update for the game. Now my Burnout is Version 1.10. Anyone know what was change, or was it just a simple glich fix with the graphics or AI?
I think one of the glitches was that it kept disconnecting people online. For example when I first started the game I pretty much went straight to online to test it out and kept being kicked saying I couldn't connect to other players. After awhile I was able to connect no problem and since the update I haven't had a problem connecting with other racers.
It's better than the demo, I thought the demo kinda sucked, but the full game is quite alot of fun. Access to online is awesome and having access to full map, events and vehicles is great. There is alot to explore.
graphically the same of course the area and what you can do is far more then whats in the demo but in my opinion there isn't much variation in environment or game-types but thats just me. the online thing with the cam is cool though but online games are kind of all over the place and i personally end up unable to connect most of the time.
actually i got the 1.1 update when i put the game in and i got it at launch. the game cool but i got my fair share of problems with it. while the open city is cool and all i prefer closed circuit in this case i don't think the races are particular fun and end up being more frustrating then anythign else. just me its a good game certainly much better then i thought it be.
Anyone else slightly confused by Cedmln's problem?
So they let a bug get through into the retail version, so what? They fixed it within (what seems to be) a couple of days and now it's working perfectly, which is a lot more than can be said for other games.
EA push for their games to be released on the date and don't stand for delays, if a game has bugs on release, they always come up with a patch. It's not the best way to go about publishing games but developers know what they're in for when they sign with EA.
I think it's more pathetic that you are complaining that they are releasing a patch to help the game. Seriously who complains about that kinda stuff, it's really sad. It's not like with warhawk where it took weeks to get the patch up and running.

I agree. The demo REALLY didn't give the full game justice. I was less than impressed by the demo, but went a head and bought the game anyway. I just knew Burnout couldn't be bad.
I'm convinced that you have no clue. I too bash EA for Madden games only because I've actually played them to say that they suck. Yet here you are bashing the game and it was just released this week. :roll:
The game is garbage period. It will take NFS's spot as yearly rehash racer of the year thanks to EA.Cedmln
I thought I was the only one that wasn't all that thrilled about the demo. For some reason, I didn't like it.
