Burnout Paradise worth it? (Especially Online Mode)

This game is now available brand new for 30 bucks. I enjoyed the demo.

Well here is my question, Do people play this game online, if so then I would pick it up for online racing. And does the online run smooth?

Lots of people play it online, and yes it runs very smooth online.

Burnout Paradise was worth it's original asking price of $60, so for $30 it's a total steal.

In all the online games I've been on with BP, there's Freeburn which you free-roam the city - you can set Road Rules or complete the multiplater challenges. Then at the discretion of the host - a race starts. After the race finishes it's back to Freeburn mode.
